Welcome to Blackadore Caye! Recently bought by world famous movie star Leonardo DiCaprio, this stunning 104 acre island is located just to the East of the Belize mainland and West of Ambergris Caye. DiCaprio, an environmental activist and renowned actor, has joined up with the Four Seasons to develop and transform this tropical private island into an exclusive eco-luxury resort. This central island location is only a short 20 minute boat ride to Ambergris Caye, and a 25 minute boat ride to one of the most popular World Heritage sites, known as the Belize Barrier Reef. In the 17th century, Blackadore was referred to as Cayo Sumba, which means a whistling noise in Spanish. Blackadore Caye is all about rocky climbing zones, white sandy beaches, and beautiful vegetation.
